Anarcestes plebeius

Taxonomy
Goniatites plebeius was named by Barrande (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Praha-Hlubocepy (upper Trebotov limestone, Dalejan), which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the Trebotov Formation of the Czech Republic. It is the type species of Anarcestes.

It was recombined as Anarcestes plebeius by Chlupac and Turek (1983), Göddertz (1987) and Korn and Klug (2002).
