Stenoglaphyrites involutus
Taxonomy
Cravenoceras involutum was named by Gordon (1964). Its type specimen is USNM 119523, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 15062, Pleasant Grove, which is in an Arnsbergian marine shale in the Pitkin Formation of Arkansas.
It was recombined as Stenoglaphyrites involutus by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1971) and Titus (2000).
