Dalmanella concavoconvexa was named by Twenhofel (1928). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Resserella concavoconvexa by Walmsley and Boucot (1971); it was recombined as Visbyella concavoconvexa by Li and Copper (2006).
