J. Jin 1989Shell medium-sized, subtriangular. Hingeline short. Triangular interarea on both valves very small. Pedicle umbo narrow, apsacline, with suberect beak. Pedicle sulcus and brachial fold broad, developed in anterior half of shell. Costae fine, simple. Dental plates high, short. Septalium relatively large, with well-definedseptalial plates. Hinge plates strong. Median septum thin. Cardinal process thick and high, with branching crest. Crural bases forming conspicuous ridges protruding into septalium. Crura radulifer.
