Ptychopleurella lamellosa

Taxonomy
Orthis lamellose was named by Raymond (1905) ["Holotype by original designation, YPM10411 (herein pl. 1, figures 20-24). Velleda Member, Ellis Bay Formation, Ellis Bay."]. Its type specimen is YPM10411, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Orthidium lamellosa by Raymond (1905); it was recombined as Orthidium lamellosum by Raymond (1906), Raymond (1911) and Bassler (1915); it was recombined as Ptychopleurella lamellosa by Cooper (1956) and Jin and Zhan (2008).
