Taxonomy
Septaliphoria paucicosta was named by Childs (1969). Its type specimen is BB. 45394 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hutton Bushell (=Hutton Buscel), which is in an Oxfordian shallow subtidal limestone in the Lower Calcaerous Grit Formation of the United Kingdom.
