Tragodesmoceras ashlandicum

Taxonomy
Desmoceras ashlandicum was named by Anderson (1902). Its type specimen is CAS 446.01, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 446, Ashland, which is in a Turonian marine siliciclastic in Oregon.

It was recombined as Pachydiscus ashlandicus by Anderson (1958); it was recombined as Tragodesmoceras ashlandicum by Matsumoto (1959) and Haggart et al. (2005).
