Taxonomy
Parapachydiscus stanislausensis was named by Anderson (1958). Its type specimen is CAS 29664.03, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 29664, Puerto Creek, which is in a Campanian marine siliciclastic in California.
