Taxonomy
Puzosia (Parapuzosia) hindsi was named by Anderson (1958). Its type specimen is CAS 2233.01, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 2233, Hulen Creek, which is in a Cenomanian marine siliciclastic in the Budden Canyon Formation of California.

It was recombined as Desmoceras (Pseudouhligella) hindsi by Matsumoto (1960).
