Subprionocyclus neptuni

Taxonomy
Ammonites neptuni was named by Geinitz (1849). Its type specimen is MMG SaK 10032, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dresden-Strehlen, Saxony, which is in a Turonian marine limestone in the Strehlen Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Subprionocyclus neptuni by Matsumoto (1959), Wright (1979), Futakami (1990) and Wilmsen and Nagm (2014).
