Pseudohealdia acuticauda was named by Monostori (1996). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bakony Mts., Közöskút (Hárskút), Közöskúti-árok Bed No. 22, which is in an Ibex shallow subtidal limestone in Hungary.
