Prionorhynchia serrata

Taxonomy
Terebratula serrata was named by Sowerby (1825). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chideock, near Charmouth, which is in a Spinatum carbonate limestone in the Marlstone Rock Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Prionorhynchia.

It was recombined as Prionorhynchia serrata by Buckman (1917), Ager (1956), Ager (1967) and Siblik (1967).
