Taxonomy
Cuneirhynchia rastuensis was named by Benigni (1978). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ra Stua, Ampezzo area, Fanes Encrinite, near Belluno, Northern Italy, which is in a Pliensbachian marine grainstone in the Fanes Encrinite Formation of Italy.
