Taxonomy
Terebratula aspasia was named by Zittel (1869).

It was recombined as Propygope aspasia by Ager (1959); it was recombined as Linguithyris aspasia by Dulai (1992), Siblik (1993), Alméras et al. (2007) and Vörös (2009).
