Taxonomy
Cadoceras (Stenocadoceras) pomeroyense was named by Imlay (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 108110, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 22415, Mount Pomeroy, which is in a Callovian marine siliciclastic in the Chinitna Formation of Alaska.
