Vaugonia hectorleanzai
Taxonomy
Vaugonia hectorleanzai was named by Pérez et al. (2008). Its type specimen is SNGM 631, a shell (articulated specimen), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Chanchoquin-Paitepen, Atacama, which is in a Falciferum open shallow subtidal limestone in Chile.
