It was recombined as Rhynchonella obsoleta by Rothpletz (1886); it was recombined as Kallirhynchia obsoleta by Weir (1929); it was recombined as Kutchirhynchia obsoleta by Laurin (1984); it was synonymized subjectively with Rhynchonella prava by Garcia Joral (1993); it was recombined as Obsoletirhynchia obsoleta by Shi and Grant (1993).
