Angeloteuthis gabriel

Taxonomy
Angeloteuthis gabriel was named by Lang (1928). Its type specimen is BMNH C.28939 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed 118c, 8 ft below Belemnite Stone, Upper Darker Marls, Charmouth, which is in an Ibex offshore marl in the Belemnite Marls Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Angeloteuthis.
