Taxonomy
Pseudohastites cultellus was named by Lang (1928). Its type specimen is BMNH C.29045 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed 104, clays above Hummocky Limestone, Charmouth, which is in a Jamesoni offshore marl in the Belemnite Marls Formation of the United Kingdom.
