Taxonomy
Hastites stonebarroensis was named by Lang (1928). Its type specimen is BMNH C.28991 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed 122, east of St. Gabriel's Mouth, Charmouth, which is in a Davoei offshore marl in the United Kingdom.
