Grypoceras haloricum

Taxonomy
Nautilus haloricus was named by von Mojsisovics (1873). Its type specimen is GBA 1873/005/0029, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Steinbergkogel, grauem Marmor, which is in a Sevatian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.

It was recombined as Grypoceras haloricum by von Mojsisovics (1902), Schastlivtseva (1988) and Tatzreiter and Zorn (2013).
