Arcestes clausus

Taxonomy
Arcestes clausus was named by von Mojsisovics (1875). Its type specimen is GBA 1875/008/0041, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Raschberg, beds with Trachyceras aonoides, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.
