Taxonomy
Didymites subglobus was named by von Mojsisovics (1875). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Someraukogel, beds with Trachyceras bicrenatum, which is in an Alaunian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.
