Pararcestes sublabiatus

Taxonomy
Arcestes sublabiatus was named by von Mojsisovics (1875). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Röthelstein, lower layer with Arcestes ellipticus, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone/limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Pararcestes.

It was recombined as Pararcestes sublabiatus by von Mojsisovics (1902) and Spath (1951).
