Taxonomy
Hexameropsis africana was named by Sinitshenkova (1975). Its type specimen is PIN 3394/3, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Brezina, Saida department (PIN collection 3394), which is in a Hauterivian marine siliciclastic in Algeria.
