Rhynchonella concinna kutchiensis was named by Kitchin (1900). It is the type subspecies of Kutchirhynchia.
It was recombined as Kutchirhynchia kutchensis by Buckman (1917); it was recombined as Kutchirhynchia kutchiensis by Shi and Grant (1993).
