Taxonomy
Rhactorhynchia diducta was named by Buckman (1917). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tetbury Road Railway Station, which is in a Bathonian marine horizon in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Obsoletirhynchia diducta by Shi and Grant (1993).
