Stenarcestes polysphinctus

Taxonomy
Arcestes polysphinctus was named by von Mojsisovics (1875). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Someraukogel, beds with Trachyceras bicrenatum, which is in an Alaunian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.

It was recombined as Stenarcestes polysphinctus by von Mojsisovics (1902).
