Joannites styriacus

Taxonomy
Arcestes styriacus was named by von Mojsisovics (1875). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Röthelstein, upper layer with Trachyceras austriacum, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.

It was recombined as Joannites styriacus by von Mojsisovics (1902).
