Cladiscites quadratus

Cephalopoda - Ceratitida - Cladiscitidae

Arcestes quadratus was named by von Mojsisovics (1873). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Someraukogel, rothern Marmor, which is in an Alaunian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.

It was recombined as Cladiscites quadratus by von Mojsisovics (1902) and Gamsjäger (1982).
