Taxonomy
Paracladiscites gemmellaroi was named by von Mojsisovics (1902). Its type specimen is GBA 1902/003/0054, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Röthelstein, lower layer with Arcestes ellipticus, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone/limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.
