Elrodoceras blakei

Taxonomy
Actinoceras blakei was named by Foord (1888) [= Orthoceras (Actinoceras) cochleatum Blake 161 pl. 15 f. 7, not f. 8]. Its type specimen is BMNH C48745, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gwernyfed, near Builth, which is in a Telychian carbonate horizon in the United Arab Emirates.

It was recombined as Elrodoceras blakei by Holland (1998); it was recombined as Elrodooceras blakei by Holland and Copper (2008).
