Xiphenax jurassicus
Taxonomy
Xiphenax jurassicus was named by Cockerell (1931). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is 35 miles east of Santa Rosa, which is in a Callovian pond shale in the Todilto Formation of New Mexico.
