Taxonomy
Salopina pumila was named by Baarli (1988). Its type specimen is PMO 111691, a valve (mould of brachial valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kampebråten, which is in a Telychian marine carbonate/shale in the Vik Formation of Norway.
