Taxonomy
Balanus concavus glyptopoma was named by Pilsbry (1916). Its type specimen is ANSP 1140, an other, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Balanus glyptopoma by Pilsbry (1918) and Ross and Newman (1967); it was recombined as Concavus glyptopoma by Zullo (1986); it was recombined as Arossia glyptopoma by Zullo (1992).
