Taxonomy
Balanus concavus pacificus was named by Pilsbry (1916). It is extant. Its type specimen is USNM 32953, an other.

It was recombined as Balanus (Balanus) pacificus by Zullo (1969); it was recombined as Paraconcavus pacificus by Zullo (1992).
