Taxonomy
Orthothetes becraftensis was named by Clarke (1900). Its type specimen is NYSM 1659-1666 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Orthothetes (Schuchertella) becraftensis by Clarke (1908); it was recombined as Eoschuchertella becraftensis by Linsley (1994); it was recombined as Floweria becraftensis by Stigall Rode (2005).
