Taxonomy
Corbula bicarinata was named by Sowerby (1833) [but see Conrad 1854]. It is extant. Its type locality is Jackson, which is in an Eocene coastal horizon in Mississippi.
It was recombined as Juliacorbula bicarinata by Coan and Valentich-Scott (2012) and Hendy (2020).
