Archiraphidia somnolenta
Taxonomy
Inocellia somnolenta was named by Scudder (1890). Its type specimen is 9373(10389), an exoskeleton (head, thorax & wings), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant (MCZ Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
It was synonymized subjectively with Raphidia tranquilla by Carpenter (1936) and Engel (2002); it was recombined as Archiraphidia somnolenta by Makarkin and Archibald (2014).
