Floweria transversalis

Taxonomy
Floweria transversalis was named by Cooper and Dutro (1982). Its type specimen is USNM 200873, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 362a. On Iowa Highway 220, 0.3 mile west of Middle Amana, which is in a Frasnian marine shale in the Independence Shale Formation of Iowa.
