Merothrips dietrichi

Taxonomy
Heterothrips dietrichi was named by Schliephake (2003). Its type specimen is Dietrich coll. 28.00332.02, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Kiesgruben west of Sarstedt, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Germany.

It was recombined as Merothrips dietrichi by Ulitzka and Mound (2017).
