Taxonomy
Atheta (Datomicra) jantarica was named by Pasnik (2005). Its type specimen is MIBUG 589, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (University of Gdansk MAI collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
