Paralenorthis alabamensis

Taxonomy
Orthis alabamensis was named by Ulrich and Cooper (1938). It is not extant. Its type locality is Railroad embankment 0.25 miles northeast of Odenville, which is in a Blackhillsian marine limestone in the Odenville Formation of Alabama.

It was recombined as Orthambonites alabamensis by Cooper (1956); it was recombined as Paralenorthis alabamensis by Jaanusson and Bassett (1993).
