Steinhardtia maryae
Taxonomy
Steinhardtia maryae was named by Jell and Lambkin (1993). Its type specimen is QM F25507, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is 5 Mile Creek, western shore of Lake Wivenhoe, which is in an Anisian terrestrial siltstone in the Esk Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Steinhardtia.
