Aulacella manticula

Rhipidomella manticula was named by Stainbrook (1947) [f. 4 is Thiebella platys according to Cooper & Dutro 1982.
Type originally numbered M.A.S. 1589A.]. Its type specimen is USNM 135260, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Percha Creek, 3 miles southeast of Hillsboro, which is in a Famennian marine shale/limestone in the Percha Shale Formation of New Mexico.
It was recombined as Aulacella manticula by Cooper and Dutro (1982).
