Taxonomy
Nervostrophia extensa was named by Cooper and Dutro (1982) [= Nervostrophia sp. Stainbrook 1945 pI. 2. figs . 13- 17.]. Its type specimen is USNM 2010SSa, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.
