Taxonomy
Ampulicomorpha janzeni was named by Olmi et al. (2014). Its type specimen is SMNS-BU-21, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
