Taxonomy
Pollicipes renevieri was named by Mayer and Gumbel (1861) [TYPE SPECIMEN: Neotype listed.]. Its type specimen is HMW2010⁄ 0085 ⁄ 0001, an other, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Arcoscalpellum renevieri by Harzhauser and Schloegl (2012).
