Taxonomy
Hydnoseris paragaricites was named by Morycowa and Masse (2009). It is not extant. Its type locality is Fessonieres-Pied Gros, Veaux, Massif du Ventoux, Provence, which is in an Aptian perireef or subreef limestone in France.
It was recombined as Lophomeandra paragaricites by Kiessling (2014).
