Pegmathyris was named as a genus. It is not extant. Its type is Dallina miyatokoensis.

It was reranked as Dallina (Pegmathyris) by Hatai (1940).

It was assigned to Dallina by Hatai (1940); to Terebratulida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Dallininae by Williams et al. (2007).
